Mommy Monday {25 weeks}

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by! We are officially at Viability and I am so thankful for that! I remember last time being so relieved by the fact that if Lennon would have come early, she would have had a fighting chance. I feel the same way this time around, although I sure hope she stays put for at least the next 15 weeks!

We've got a lot going on right now and are super busy! We are packing and getting ready to close on our house so the next couple weeks are going to be hectic. I'm hoping that it all goes smoothly and we will soon be in our new house! I promise that I have a blog post planned about the building process and one just focused on all of our design choices. We will see how I feel about the whole process once we close and are all moved in!

But, without further ado..

How far along?  25 weeks, 4 days
Total weight gain/measurements: I haven't weighed myself since the Doctor's last week so we'll stick to 18 lbs until I get the courage to step on a scale again.
Maternity clothes: Maternity pants/leggings are my jam. I'm still able to wear all of my normal tops, for the most part.
Stretch marks: None to report and hoping to keep it that way. I'm lathering my belly in Burt's Bee's Mama Bee. I will be adding The Honest Co. Belly Balm when we get back from our trip!
Sleep: Waking up at 4am has been a regular occurence lately. One time last week I was up at 4 because my stomach hurt so bad and last night I was up at 4 because my brain just wouldn't stop thinking about where everything is going to go in our new kitchen. Why am I thinking about these things?!
Exercise: Beachbody On Demand is still my go to workout. I wasn't able to work out at all this week, but I'm hoping to work out a little bit more during the week. I did have my Prenatal Yoga again this week, so at least there's that!
Best moment this week: Spring Break!
Miss anything? Sleep. We really need to move so the stress and constant thoughts about what needs to be packed can go away!
Movement:  She moves all the time, but especially at night when I'm just laying in bed.
Food cravings: Smoothies, bananas and PB&J's. I guess it could be worse.
Anything making you queasy or sick? I still really cannot stand the smell of bell peppers. Nothing else is really bothering me.
Gender: Girl #2!
Labor signs: No and let's keep it that way!
Belly button in or out? In, but sneaking it's way out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Oh man, this last week has been super emotional. I'm pretty sure I cried at least once every day.
Looking forward to:  Our trip and closing on our house!

Until next time!

Mommy Monday {24 Weeks}

I'm just going to jump right into the post this week. I'm getting a super late start and I am exhausted. We only have 4 more days until Spring break and it cannot come soon enough!

How far along?  24 weeks, 4 days
Total weight gain/measurements: Well, according to the Doctor's scale I am up 18 lbs. Like I said during Lennon's pregnancy, I know it's for the good of the baby, but it's so hard to watch the scale keep ticking up!
Maternity clothes: I'm currently sporting maternity pants, but still wearing my normal tops. I'm really having a hard time dressing for this cold weather. For Lennon's pregnancy we lived in AZ and it was warm. I wore dresses all the time and I just can't do that this time. The struggle is real.
Stretch marks: None to report and hoping to keep it that way. I'm lathering my belly in Burt's Bee's Mama Bee. I will be adding The Honest Co. Belly Balm when we get back from our trip!
Sleep: I've been tossing and turning a lot lately. I'm sure that has something to do with Lennon being sick this week, but I definitely don't feel rested.
Exercise: Beachbody On Demand is still my go to workout. I wasn't able to work out as much this week, but I did run a little bit during Girls on the Run practice!
Best moment this week: Figuring out that are still able to go on our vacation next week. We were on an emotional rollercoaster with the closing of the house possibly falling during our vacation, hence possibly having to cancel. Yay for warmer weather!
Miss anything? Being able to shave my legs in a normal way, without having to contort my body to reach my ankle.
Movement:  She is a very active little one, much more so than Lennon.
Food cravings: Smoothies! Now that the weather is getting a bit nicer, I just want some delicious juice smoothies.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Still no bell peppers. Keep them far away from me.
Gender: Girl #2!
Labor signs: No and let's keep it that way!
Belly button in or out? In, but sneaking it's way out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Because of this emotional rollercoaster I've been on this last week, I've been pretty moody. I've been on the verge of tears more than once.
Looking forward to:  Spring Break!

Until next time!

Mommy Monday {23 Weeks}

I'm getting to this post a little late, but it is still going up on Monday so I'll chalk that up as a win!

We've been so busy dealing with house stuff that I just have not found ANY down time. Today was designing our closet and pantry shelving. I'm excited, but man I can't wait for this process to be over!

How far along?  23 weeks, 4 days
Total weight gain/measurements: I made the mistake of weighing myself last week at my parents house and blah. It seems I'm up at least 15 lbs. I really don't know what my starting weight was, but I have an appointment on Wednesday so we shall see what the official weight gain is!
Maternity clothes: Officially in Maternity pants FULL time and loving every minute of it. I'm limited by how many I have, but they are in rotation with my leggings and I'm making do.
Stretch marks: None to report and hoping to keep it that way. I'm lathering my belly in Burt's Bee's Mama Bee. I will probably add The Honest Co. Belly Balm soon!
Sleep: Daylight Savings time is really affecting me. We never had to worry about this when we lived in AZ so it's been an adjustment.
Exercise: Beachbody On Demand is still my go to workout. I worked out both days this weekend despite my crappy mood and not wanting to do anything.
Best moment this week: Meeting with our builder and feeling much better about the timeline of the house being done.
Miss anything? Back about a week ago when I wasn't such a crabby, crazy B.
Movement:  She has been much more active this week. I've been doing kick counts and she is right on. Much less stress this week because she's been bouncing around all the time.
Food cravings: I've been on a huge peanut butter and jelly sandwich kick lately. With Lennon I couldn't stand peanut butter and with this one I can't get enough. It's amazing how different each pregnancy is!
Anything making you queasy or sick? Still no bell peppers. Keep them far away from.
Gender: Girl #2!
Labor signs: No and let's keep it that way!
Belly button in or out? In, but sneaking it's way out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: I have been so moody lately! I had such a terrible weekend that I actually looked up if Pre-Partum Depression was a thing and sure enough it is! I, by no means, feel like I have this, but I was just in a funk yesterday.
Looking forward to:  My Aunt coming on Friday! She's only met Lennon once so I'm excited to be able to spend some time with her next week!

And here are some more pictures because it was nice out!

Until next time!

Mommy Monday {22 Weeks}

I had quite the stressful week. I had quite a few Braxton Hicks Contractions this week and I think that I've linked it to wearing my pre-maternity pants too low on my hips. As soon as I switched my pants, they stopped happening. Apparently baby doesn't like to be constricted so I'm switching fully over to maternity pants.

We've also had some stress relating to the building of our house. That all will be in a completely different blog post. It's coming along nicely and I like how it looks so far, but there is definitely a lack of communication and complete disconnect in the building/construction world. If only people would just LISTEN when we tell them what we want, there wouldn't be any problems.

Anywho, I'm about ready for this house to be done and the stress of moving/packing to be over. We are currently living amongst a ton of boxes again and it's just no fun!

How far along?  22 weeks, 4 days
Total weight gain/measurements: I'm trying not to focus on my weight too much this time around. I've been working out more consistently and feel really good about how I'm feeling. That's all that matters!
Maternity clothes: I am saying bye to my Bella Band and hello full time to my maternity pants and leggings. Give me allll the leggings!
Stretch marks: None to report and hoping to keep it that way. I'm lathering my belly in Burt's Bee's Mama Bee. I will probably add The Honest Co. Belly Balm soon!
Sleep: I feel very rested lately, although Lennon had a bit of a rough night last night. Coughing and sneezing. I'm praying she isn't getting sick again.
Exercise: Beachbody On Demand is still my go to workout. I only worked out once this weekend because I've been busy packing. So much packing. Ugh!
Best moment this week: Hmm, was there really a best moment this week? The weather was pretty nice and I was able to get in two nice walks with Lennon after work!
Miss anything? Being able to lay on my back is now really affecting me.
Movement:  This has also been a pretty big stressor for me. Especially yesterday, I was struggling to feel her moving so I did everything to get her to kick! She finally kicked away, but not before she had me in tears. It never gets easier.
Food cravings: I've been a big fan of Starbursts this last week. Nothing too out of the ordinary though.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nothing is really making me queasy or sick lately. I'm still not a big fan of bell peppers.
Gender: Girl #2!
Labor signs: No and let's keep it that way!
Belly button in or out? In, but sneaking it's way out.
Wedding rings on or off? On
Happy or moody most of the time: Because of all of the stress, I've been pretty moody. Hoping for a much less stressful week ahead.
Looking forward to:  Getting a haircut tomorrow and our house being done!

I'll leave you with this photobombed Bumpdate! Lennon decided she wanted to be in the picture this week too!

Until next time!
